For the past 10 weeks, three students enrolled in Kris Calnan's Mixed Media class at the Sharon Arts Center, have built an installation work of art based on the tsunami event of December 26, 2004 in southeast Asia. The students Ann Falby, John Derry and JoAnn Ephraim, all of Peterborough, have ambitiously executed this sizable work of art in the administrative offices at the Art Center in Sharon. Visitors are welcome and encouraged to view this dynamic work of art during regular office business hours: 9am-4:30pm, Monday through Friday. The installation will remain on display until April 29, 2005 and an opening reception will be held on Saturday, April 16th from 5-7pm.
