Frankie Brackley Tolman is currently a resident in Nelson, NH. When
describing her work she says "Watercolor provides me with the luminosity
and vibrant colors to create an atmosphere that celebrates the joy of life
- and hints at its transitory nature. My inspiration primarily comes
from, what I consider to be "Endangered Landscapes", the fields, farms and
forests of the Northeast. The subjects of my paintings are reduced to
simplified shapes that provide clues to their history and our ties to
them". |
