Student Clubs and Organizations

Student Organizations & Clubs

Our student organizations and clubs will keep your calendar packed with activities as exciting and creative as the students you share them with. Grab the microphone at a poetry slam, find your zen at a free yoga session, or dance the night away at a masquerade ball. You’ll expand your horizons, meet new faces, and grow your inspiration.

Student Clubs

Alpha Chi: (currently being chartered) is an active member of the Association of College Honor Societies. ACHS, founded in 1925, is the nation’s only certifying agency for college and university honor societies. Visit www.achsnatl.org. As a general honor society, Alpha Chi inducts students from all academic fields. No students are excluded from striving for membership. Alpha Chi inducts only the top ten percent of juniors, seniors, and graduate students, insuring that the honor is reserved for the very best students based on a substantial part of their academic record.

Alpha Lambda Delta: (currently being chartered) is an honor society for students in their first year of higher education.  Membership in ALD is open to all students at NHIA who have earned a 3.5 of higher GPA in their first year or term of enrollment.  Alpha Lambda Delta has been around for over 90 years - the Society was founded in 1924 at the University of Illinois by Dean of Women Maria Leonard. ALD was one of the first members of the Association of College Honor Societies - the organization that sets the standard for honor societies in the United States.  All ACHS member Societies are required to meet strict guidelines regarding their membership requirements, governance structures, and operational practices in order to proudly display the ACHS logo.
