Library & Special Collections

The New Hampshire Institute of Art's Teti Library is the intellectual and cultural hub of the college, with a mission of providing students with the skills, resources and services they need to become self-sufficient artists, writers and life-long learners beyond graduation.

Walk inside and be greeted by name. Get personalized help with that research project or guidance to unique resources to inspire your work. Our library staff have backgrounds ranging from art education to gallery curation and studio art. They pride themselves on being approachable, compassionate, and helpful, going the extra mile to make sure your needs are met.

Resources

The Teti Library serves as both a traditional academic library and a special resource for in-depth holdings on art, design, education and literature. Our outstanding catalog supports graduate-level research and studio practice, and our nationally-recognized Special Collections give New Hampshire Institute of Art's students hands-on access to rare books and fine art photographs. After graduation, you’ll enjoy borrowing privileges for a lifetime.

Regionally, our Manchester location places us amongst the finest library collections in the nation. Our students have borrowing privileges at every college and university library in New Hampshire. If you need it, Teti Library can get it for you.

Exhibit your art in an inspiring setting. Give voice to your writing or sit in on readings by poets and authors. The Teti Library maintains a full slate of programming, including regular student shows in our stunning Eye Gallery.
