The New Hampshire Department of Education’s Higher Education Commission (NHHEC) has approved the New Hampshire Institute of Art for degree-granting authority for the Bachelor of Fine Arts, Master of Arts in Teaching Visual Arts, and Master of Fine Arts in Visual Arts, Photography, and Writing,
Both the New England Association of Schools and Colleges through the New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE) and the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD) accredit the New Hampshire Institute of Art.
